Training Kit on Family Guidance for Childhood and Adolescence
Family Guidance
One of the main specialities of psychological counselling, it generally serves to enable the family to manage life and the various marital and parental levels, and is represented in guiding marital relationships. It is also concerned with treating children's problems and their adaptation within the family and school. It also has preventive aspects to protect the family as a unit, and its members, from the dangers that threaten their balance, self-adjustment and life effectiveness. It therefore also has a therapeutic dimension.
Educational Guidance:
Assistance provided on an individual and personal basis regarding personal, educational and professional problems, in which all the facts related to these problems are studied, and solutions are sought for them, with the help of specialists and by making use of the capabilities of the school and the community, and through guidance interviews in which the counselled person learns to make their own personal decisions.
Social and psychological specialists, family counsellors, and parents.
