Imitation is considered one of the basic elements for acquiring language and many other skills. The importance of this technique lies in the fact that it can be developed linguistically, and it can be a necessary opportunity shared by the parents with the child, which raises their level of motivation. Imitation improves cognitive abilities and precise observation, which helps the child to keep up with upcoming exercises related to perception and movement, and for this reason the process of imitation must be started early. Some children learn to imitate movements easily compared to imitating sounds, while with others we find the opposite.
