Self-Management
A presentation on self-management. Self-management and self-awareness are acquired in early childhood, as a child forms this awareness during upbringing by adopting the values of their parents.
Habits are patterns of behavior belonging to particular social groups or environments — repeated actions performed so regularly that they require no deliberate effort. This presentation explores the Seven Habits framework as developed by Dr. Stephen Covey and how these habits grow and evolve through three developmental stages.
**Dependence stage:** Characterized by the mindset of "you take care of me, you are responsible for me"
**Independence stage:** Characterized by the mindset of "I am responsible for my own choices"
**Interdependence stage:** Characterized by the mindset of "we work together, and our combined output will be greater than the sum of what each of us produces alone"
The framework provides a structured path from dependency through independence to the highest level of human effectiveness: interdependence. By understanding and internalizing these habits, individuals can transform both their personal and professional lives, achieving sustained growth and meaningful collaboration.
