عرفت القيم بأنها " مجموعة من القوانين والمقاييس تنشأ في جماعة ما، ويتخذون منها معايير للحكم على الأعمال والأفعال المادية والمعنوية، وتكون لها من القوة والتأثير على الجماعة بحيث يصبح لها صفة الإلزام والضرورة والعمومية وأي خروج عليها أو انحراف على اتجاهاتها يصبح خروجًا عن مبادئ الجماعة وأهدافها ومثلها العليا ".
أنها إنسانية بمعنى أنها تختص بالبشر دون غيرهم

أنها تمتلك صفة الضدية
