Description

A Training Kit on Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is a phenomenon that has spread in recent times due to the great spread of technology in general and the spread of social media sites in particular, and the increase in the numbers of internet users in the Arab world and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, year after year.

Cyberbullying

Bullying is any aggression or harmful act carried out by one person against another, or a group of individuals against a person or another group. For a harmful act to be called bullying, it must have occurred more than once. Bullying is based on one person overpowering another, or exploiting their weak points in order to cause them harm. The danger of bullying lies in the fact that it aims to undermine the other person's character, break their self-confidence, and diminish their worth and standing in their own eyes and in the eyes of others.

Causes of Cyberbullying

  • Jealousy of the other party.

  • The bully may be a victim of bullying by another person.
