تتناول هذه الحقيبة التدريبية أهمية الطفل الموهوب باعتباره ثروة بشرية وطنية حقيقية لأي مجتمع من المجتمعات، فهو يمثل القلب النابض والعقل المفكر القادر على الإبداع والعطاء، ونخبة لا تنضب إن أُحسِن استثمارها بشكل فاعل وإيجابي في مواجهة التحديات في أي زمان ومكان، وتستعرض أبرز خصائص الطفل الموهوب من نمو لغوي يفوق المعدل العام، ومثابرة في المهمات العقلية الصعبة، وقدرة على التعميم ورؤية العلاقات، وفضول غير عادي، وتنوع كبير في الميول.
كما تسلط الحقيبة الضوء على دور الأسرة في رعاية أبنائها الموهوبين، من خلال ملاحظة الطفل بشكل منتظم، وتجنب المبالغة في تقدير مواهبه بدافع الرغبة في التباهي، مع التنبيه إلى أثر سوء التقدير وانعدام التفهم على شعور الطفل الموهوب بالتجاهل، إضافة إلى إبراز اعتماد الأطفال الموهوبين على الابتكار والإنشاء في أعمالهم العقلية.وتُعد هذه الحقيبة مرجعًا عمليًا للمدربين الراغبين في تأهيل الأسر على تنمية مواهب الأطفال وتنمية التفكير لديهم منذ الصغر.
