Training kit on mechanisms for dealing with student problems
The student community represents a distinctive community due to the distinctive composition of its members, who are linked by special relationships and united by common goals within an educational community governed by systems and regulations that organise the course of work within it. Despite this, this community has been filled with many different educational and academic problems that have troubled officials and educators, including the problem of academic delay, aggressive behaviour, rebellion, delinquency, introversion, absence and morning lateness, and other problems affecting the student's life, which may negatively affect their academic path.
The brainstorming method in problem solving
Brainstorming sessions are essentially creative discussions in which each individual builds their contributions on the contributions of others, in order to create a complete picture of the situation. This type of session can be used at any stage of problem solving, but it is more effective at the stage of proposing solutions.
Rules of brainstorming:
Judging ideas or evaluating any idea is not allowed.
Welcoming unusual ideas.
The goal is to obtain the largest possible number of ideas.
Encouraging the modification, adjustment and development of ideas.
School counsellors, teachers, and psychological and social specialists.
