Training Kit on Action Research in the Educational Field
Action research is considered one of the applied research types directed towards solving the problems faced by the teacher in particular. Action research in the educational field received attention in the late sixties and early seventies of the last century as a result of what is known as the teacher-researcher movement in the United States, which held that the teacher should be a researcher, and viewed the practising teacher inside the classroom as the most important person in identifying educational problems and finding solutions to them.
