Description

Training Kit on Remedial Education for the Basic and Secondary Stages

Remedial Education

The process of re-teaching and reinforcing basic skills that have been taught previously, in order to improve students' results in the current or future school year.

Learning Loss

It is the gap that has occurred in learning, that is, what has been lost in students' learning; and consequently the failure to achieve the learning outcomes that had been planned, meaning the gap between what the student has actually learned and mastered and what he should be proficient in at his current grade. This is due to various reasons, such as learning not taking place, or taking place in an ineffective manner, dropout, falling behind academically, not attending school, or forgetting; which means that waste has occurred in financial and human resources.
