Training Kit on Values and Principles
Values are the set of religious and social virtues, and the moral system that regulates society's interaction. Society refers to them to verify right and wrong in people's words and deeds, in order to avoid deviation.
Society relies on values, deriving from them its moral and cultural frame of reference, and adopting them as a standard it refers to, accepting what agrees with them and rejecting what contradicts them. However, the necessity of referring to them may differ from one person to another, depending on their degree of conviction in them and awareness of their importance. Values are divided into personal values and collective values, and their combination forms societal values, shaped by inherited customs, traditions, religious teachings, the bonds of relationships among members of society, and its level of culture and learning. Values undoubtedly bring benefit to the individual and society, as they grant a person a distinguished standing and elevate their present and future. In this training programme, we will address the importance of Islamic values for the individual and society, their sources, their most important characteristics, and how to raise children upon them.
