The School Environment:
Linguistically, the word "environment" is derived from the verb "baw'a", meaning to settle and reside, and from the verb "taba'wa", meaning to settle down. Accordingly, the environment means the home and place to which a living being returns and in which it lives. Scientifically, the term environment means the medium in which a living being lives and is affected by and affects its surroundings, directly or indirectly, through the conditions and factors that help it survive and continue living.
