Training Kit on Partnership
The subject of partnership has received great attention from governments, societies, and research centres around the world, after it was confirmed beyond doubt that the process of economic and social development depends on mobilising and gathering all the capacities of society from the public sector, the private sector, and civil society institutions, especially the energies, resources, and expertise of those sectors, within institutional arrangements that undertake the establishment and operation of projects of various kinds.
Partnership
It is the state that a partner who contributes to the same activity must be in, or it is shared interests or contractual relationships based on mutual agreements in response to development-related priorities, while achieving the principles of transparency and accountability, with coordination among all participants in development processes. This means that partnership relies more on a formal or semi-formal contracting system, in which the responsibilities of each partner are defined, and each partner is held accountable for this responsibility before the other partner.
Managers and entrepreneurs, partnership development teams, and anyone interested in collaborative work.
