Digital Transformation
A presentation on digital transformation, using the transport sector as an example. Technology is no longer a luxury there: meeting today's requirements means turning traditional operations into digital ones.
In the 1990s the world entered a new communication technology phase that combines the technological advantages of several media in one, with the ultimate goal of communication: delivering the message to the public and achieving the desired effect.
This phase has been given several names, most notably the multimedia communication phase, the interactive communication technology phase and the hybrid media phase.
This presentation reviews how these developments gave rise to digital journalism and how it differs from traditional press.
