Description
The Business Continuity Planning Process Aims to:
Ensure the ability to continue vital activities during emergencies or due to sudden business stoppage or disruption, by adopting an effective framework and developing suitable and flexible plans for managing business continuity, while ensuring compliance with all requirements related to implementation, whether legislative, legal, regulatory, or contractual, with an emphasis on commitment to work ethics and consideration of the relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Business continuity and disaster recovery plans followed by organisations differ radically depending on the differences in their goals, size, the nature of their activities, the scope of their duties and responsibilities, and the sources of their income and profits; these plans are also affected by work disruption, changes in the risk that may threaten the organisation, or the degree of potential damage.
