Societal entrepreneurship means the ability to take the initiative in establishing new private projects with different ideas and elevating them towards the top. Recently, the interest of Arab youth in topics of entrepreneurship has begun to increase, to the point that some Arab countries have begun to take an interest in the subject, as well as Arab and foreign investors. However, the problem lies in the lack of Arabic knowledge resources that could encourage aspiring youth and lead them along the path to success with the least losses, hence the need emerges to develop and advance Arabic resources on entrepreneurship.
Societal entrepreneurship is considered an approach that applies entrepreneurial behaviours by a group of individuals or a particular company, which may be a start-up, in order to realise an innovative idea on the ground, providing social, environmental, or cultural solutions. Societal entrepreneurship aims to bring about positive change in society and the world, instead of achieving material profits only.
Social entrepreneurs, staff at non-profit organisations, and young people aspiring to community initiatives.
