Investing in Talent Training Kit
A kit on investing in talent at the level of the family, school and organisations, covering why it matters, how to identify gifted individuals, and models for nurturing talent.
Life presents us with various choices that make it a series of tests in which we may succeed or fail. It is natural that life is not free of setbacks, just as it is not free of successes, and every one of us is liable to fail in any experience we undertake. Some allow failure to affect them and become discouraged, while others turn failure into a genuine opportunity in which they seek brilliance and success.
When a person feels failure or defeat, they suffer from states of frustration and mental exhaustion, which affects their physical and psychological health.
In this state, a person becomes pessimistic about everything around them, and their mind becomes a stage for charges of negative thoughts that negatively affect how they deal with matters, becoming unable to think properly. They lose the ability to concentrate and suffer from crises of fatigue and lethargy as a result of staying up late, because they exhaust themselves with thinking and sleeplessness, which may affect their health and cause them to lose a lot of weight.
Sometimes the situation is the opposite, and they tend to overeat and gain weight. Very often, the person suffers from severe depression, despair, tension, and quick temper, and becomes unable to deal with their surroundings and the people around them, and may find themselves isolated and withdrawn into themselves, weakening their social relationships.
A person loses the desire for anything, turning into someone who feels indifferent towards anything they love; at that point, they lose their enthusiasm and vitality. The weakness they experience takes up space in their life, causing them to lose their self confidence and self esteem, and they fail to see any way out of their problems because their eyes are closed and do not allow them to see suitable solutions. In the most difficult cases, they may come close to suicide when they reach the highest degree of surrender.
It should be noted that all these negative effects of failure can be avoided and curbed before they occur, if a person is endowed with full willpower and patience, which allow them to endure everything that stands in their way with strength and determination.
